A Little About Me
Hello, and thank you so much for being here!
My name is Kate and I am the owner and founder of 'Kat's Cottage of Behavioral Health Services'! I am a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a Washington State approved supervisor, providing clinical supervision services for LSWAIC's, LSWAA's, LMHCA's and LMFTA's.
Originally born in San Diego, I completed my Bachelor's of Social Work with San Diego State, and later obtained my Master's with University of Washington.
I have over 10 years experience providing supervision independently and through partnership opportunities with several community mental health agencies and universities across the state.
My professional background further includes several years of working in Home Health settings, local Hospitals, stat insurance agencies, Drug Court, Victim Advocacy and Tribal Court spaces, and I further have experience successfully writing and reviewing grants, designing and implementing Law Enforcement Training initiatives, reporting systems, SSI and SSA navigation, and Advanced Healthcare directives.
I absolutely love what I do, and have further found joy knowing my passions help our communities establish safe and sustainable ethical practices, which I why I choose to ensure my services remain affordable and accessible. I firmly believe that we can achieve greatness, with just a little bit of hope and opportunity.
