Group supervision is a structured, collaborative process in which a small group of clinicians meet with a qualified clinical supervisor to reflect on their clinical work, develop their skills, and enhance ethical, effective practice. It provides a confidential space to discuss cases, share perspectives, receive feedback, and learn from the experiences of peers, while fostering reflective practice, professional growth, and high-quality client care.
Practicum and internship are supervised clinical training experiences that allow therapists-in-training to apply their academic learning in real-world practice settings. Under the guidance of qualified clinical supervisors, trainees develop assessment, intervention, and professional skills through direct client work, observation, feedback, and reflective practice., while building competence, support ethical practice and prepare students for independent professional practice while ensuring high-quality client care.

Therapists in private practice are responsible for managing all aspects of client care, including assessment, treatment planning, documentation, ethical practice, and business operations. This setting offers flexibility and autonomy while requiring strong clinical judgment, professional accountability, and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
Licensed agency and organization refers to a regulated healthcare, mental health, or community service setting that employs therapists to provide clinical services under established organizational policies, professional standards, and applicable licensing requirements. These settings offer opportunities for collaborative, multidisciplinary care, structured supervision, and access to organizational resources while supporting ethical, evidence-informed practice and high-quality client care.
